The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Mill Warping Operative to join our Knitted Fabrics division, supporting the preparation of yarns for our Warp Knitting operations.

In this role, you will operate a range of warping machinery and equipment to produce warp beams, ensuring materials are prepared accurately and efficiently for the next stage of production. Your work will play a key role in maintaining quality standards and keeping production running smoothly.

This is a hands-on, process-driven role where attention to detail and consistency are essential.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Operating warping machines and associated equipment
  • Loading and unloading creels with yarn
  • Transporting raw materials and finished warp beams
  • Preparing and supplying warp beams to the Knitting department
  • Monitoring processes to ensure quality standards are consistently met
  • Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Maintaining a safe and organised working environment

What We’re Looking For

  • Understanding of health and safety within a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to interpret technical information and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and a safety-conscious mindset
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • A logical approach to problem-solving
  • A responsible and proactive approach, with the ability to quickly develop into a competent operator within the given training period
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop

Training and Development

Full training will be provided to help you become a competent operator within the department. We will support you in developing your skills and understanding of our processes and equipment.
