A practical, hands-on role supporting our woven textile production unit.

We are looking for a motivated and organised individual to join our team as a Yarn Storeperson within our woven fabric production preparation area.

This is an interesting and varied role that supports the smooth running of our weaving operations by ensuring yarn materials are stored, managed and delivered efficiently to production teams.

The Role

As a Yarn Storeperson, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement, storage and organisation of yarn materials across our woven fabric production areas. You will help ensure that materials are available when needed and that storage areas remain well-organised, safe, and efficient.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing yarn storage areas for the Woven Fabrics business unit

  • Allocating and delivering yarn materials to production areas

  • Loading and unloading deliveries

  • Recording material movements and maintaining accurate system records (MRP)

  • Clearing packaging materials, waste and returned or rejected goods

  • Supporting the smooth flow of materials within production

  • Assisting with quarterly stock takes

  • Providing support to other areas of the department when required

This role is well-suited to someone who enjoys working as part of a team, and playing a key role in keeping production running smoothly.

Desirable Experience

  • Previous warehouse, stores, or manufacturing experience

  • Experience with manual handling equipment or warehouse trucks

  • Previous manual handling experience

(Training can be provided where required.)
