The Role

We are looking for a skilled Pipe Fitter to join our Maintenance team, working within our Site Services function to support production across the business.

In this role, you will carry out both reactive and planned maintenance, helping to ensure the safe and efficient operation of site services. You will use your experience and judgement to diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and support ongoing maintenance activities across a range of systems.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong practical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Carrying out reactive maintenance to diagnose and repair faults
  • Completing planned maintenance activities across site services
  • Working with pipework systems, pumps, and associated equipment
  • Supporting the safe operation of steam and gas systems
  • Working across a large-scale manufacturing environment with varied site services systems
  • Maintaining clean and organised work areas using 5S principles
  • Assisting in the training and support of new team members where required

What We’re Looking For

  • NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in pipe fitting, steam systems, or welding
  • Proven experience in pipe fitting, welding, and working with pumps
  • Strong understanding of health and safety procedures
  • Experience with steam and gas systems (advantageous)
  • Good manual dexterity and practical problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

Training and Development

We support ongoing development within our Maintenance team, with opportunities to build your skills and contribute to continuous improvement across site services.
