Knitting Warping Operative

We have an exciting opportunity for an Operative to join our Knitting Warping team.

About the department and responsibilities

The role involves operating various machinery and equipment within the Knitting production department to supply finished warp beams. Key responsibilities of the role include transporting raw materials and finished stock, loading and unloading creels, and operating our technical warping machines. Attention to detail and continuous observation are critical, ensuring a high-quality standard is maintained in the department.

You must have a responsible and proactive attitude, a logical approach and be able to become a competent operator within the given training period, working as part of the team. You will be required to demonstrate good hand/eye dexterity when handling yarn, alongside good numeracy and literacy skills. A consistent eye for attention to detail is critical.

The role currently operates on a 2-shift basis, but will be subject to change, moving to our 3-shift pattern. For more information on our shift patterns, please contact human.resources@heathcoat.co.uk
