Quality Manager

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven Quality Manager to join our Quality team.

Reporting to the QHSE Director, you will lead the site’s quality function, ensuring effective quality controls are embedded throughout the entire manufacturing process, from customer order receipt through to product dispatch. You will be responsible for maintaining and continually improving the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 requirements while driving operational excellence, customer satisfaction and continuous improvement across the business.

With direct responsibility for the Quality Team, including the Textile Laboratory and associated quality functions, you will be leading internal and external audits, driving reductions in quality defects through structured problem-solving methodologies, and ensuring investigations into quality concerns are completed in a timely and effective manner.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Ensuring effective quality controls for all aspects of product from PO to dispatch
• Direct leadership and management of the Quality team including the Textile Laboratory
• Measuring, reporting and managing key performance indicators both within the team and sitewide
• Delivering training to employees at all levels on quality standards, procedures, problem solving methodologies, and continuous improvement techniques
• Regularly report quality metrics and activities to the Board, delivering accurate and timely updates on key performance indicators
• Providing timely responses to customer information requests

What We’re Looking For

• Demonstratable Quality management experience within a manufacturing environment
• A degree in a technical discipline
• Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and World Class Manufacturing Principles
• Experience with using Root Cause Analysis and structured problem-solving tools such as 8D, MSA, 5Why, and Ishikowa methodologies
• Extensive knowledge of ISO 9001 & Annex SL
• Certified Lead Auditor of ISO 9001
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Strong knowledge of statistical techniques and analytical tools to identify trends, patterns and correlations
• Proven experience implementing, maintaining and auditing management systems
