The Department and the Role

We are seeking a Weaving Operative to join our Woven Fabrics team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process, operating industry-leading weaving machinery to produce high-quality technical fabrics.

We are seeking a practical and enthusiastic individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and values the satisfaction of producing innovative products for a global industry.

Key responsibilities:

  • Following Health and Safety procedures and quality standards
  • Working with colleagues to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Supporting production schedules to meet deadlines and customer requirements

Essential Skills

  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Good hand/eye coordination
  • Good manual dexterity
  • Experience of working with machinery in a manufacturing environment and/or in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
