We are currently seeking Weaving Operatives who takes pride in their work to join our Weaving team. As a Weaving Operative, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process, operating various weaving machinery to produce high quality technical fabric.

About the department and role

Our Weaving facility is equipped with the latest generation section warping and threading capability and industry-leading looms. As a Weaving Operative, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process, operating and maintaining an impressive range of high-technology weaving machinery to produce high-quality technical woven fabrics, ensuring optimum quality is achieved and maintained.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and practical operative who is looking to work in a busy manufacturing environment.  This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are dedicated and value the satisfaction of producing innovative products in a global industry.

Responsibilities include working within Health and Safety procedures and quality standards, working with team members to troubleshoot, and helping resolve technical issues to support deadlines and customer requirements.

Skills, knowledge and experience required

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Experience working with machinery or in a similar role is an advantage but not essential.
