Join our dedicated Effluent Treatment team as a Plant Attendant, supporting the 24/7 operation of our Effluent Plant, Filter House, and Boiler House.

 

The Department and the Role

The Effluent Treatment Department is transferring to a five-shift work pattern and is seeking a Plant Attendant to join the team, supporting the 24/7 operation of the Effluent Plant, Filter House, and Boiler House.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for operating and monitoring effluent plant machinery and associated equipment to ensure environmental compliance and minimise the risk of ecological harm. You’ll also conduct routine inspections and testing of effluent samples to confirm compliance with the regulatory standards set out in our environmental permit.

The team is committed to your success – you’ll receive full support and guidance throughout your training, helping you develop the skills needed to meet our future business requirements.

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including night shifts and overtime.
  • A mechanical aptitude towards problem-solving
  • Basic understanding of environmental regulations concerning wastewater discharge.
  • Effective communication skills
