We have an interesting and varied role within our finished fabric warehouse.

 

About the department and the role

Our warehouse team are essential for ensuring that rolls of fabrics are received, stored, wrapped and despatched to our customers in a timely manner and in suitable condition as set out in departmental documentation.

Some manual work is involved, storing, and collecting goods from pallets, cartons or loose, and requires the use of machinery. Other responsibilities are to ensure equipment is working safely and correctly and to report any issues that arise.

The role is key in monitoring & maintaining product stock control and process capability, with a strong focus on improvement.

What we are looking for

  • Good communication, both written and verbal
  • An understanding of stock and warehouse processes is an advantage
  • Good attention to detail
  • Previous experience working within a warehouse environment is an advantage
  • Experience with company computer systems
  • Knowledge of 5s is an advantage.
