We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Tyer to join our Woven Fabrics Division, playing a key hands on role in supporting our Weavers and Over lookers to keep production running smoothly and efficiently.

The Role

In this role, you’ll take ownership of tying new warps to exact weaving specifications, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete, and following established SOP’s to deliver work to a consistently high standard. You’ll sign off jobs once finished and provide valuable support and cover to Weavers/Smashweavers by completing any tasks assigned at the workstation.

Essential Skills

  • Ability to work well in a team and on your own initiative
  • An understanding of health and safety issues relating to the production of fabric
  • Attention to detail
  • Previously trained as a weaver
  • Able to follow Standard Operating Procedures
  • Good dexterity and attention to detail
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Effective communication skills
