  Monday-Friday, 8.00 am to 5.00 pm

About the department and the role

Our Finishing department is where we apply special treatments and dyes to our fabrics.  From dress nets to parachute fabrics we have process equipment that can treat our fabrics to our customer’s exact requirements, before being shipped off around the globe.

The TPM Technician/Process Support is a pivotal role in all aspects of the central finishing department’s Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) on machines, equipment and abatement units. The successful candidate will be required to undertake a number of TPM tasks such as safety checks, cleaning and general maintenance, as well as being responsible for the collation of related data.

Skills, knowledge and experience:

Essential

  • Good communication skills
  • Experience of using a PC
  • Ability to work in a team as well as on your own
  • High level of dexterity and mechanically minded
  • Good attention to detail
  • Previous experience of working in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage but not essential

Desirable

  • Knowledge of TPM systems and mechanical work
  • An understanding of HS&E and quality issues in a manufacturing environment
