About the department and role

The Systems Analyst is responsible for identifying, managing and implementing projects within the Company that drive improvement and effective use of our ERP business system ‘Epicor’.

You will be tasked with introducing new functionality to users at all levels of the business whilst you build your knowledge of the system itself and how the Company operates. You will collaborate with users and the IT department to resolve issues and ensure solutions are viable and consistent.  You will provide user training where required and also test and manage upgrades of the system.

This role would suit someone who can think logically and work through scenarios to come up with solutions to problems raised. You must be able to communicate comfortably and confidently with all levels of the business and be able to drive projects through to completion in a timely manner.

Training will be provided based on the candidate’s previous experience and knowledge of ERP and business systems.

Skills, knowledge and experience required

Essential

  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • High level verbal and written communication skills
  • Critical thinking ability
  • Strong problem-solving capacity
  • Understanding of ERP systems
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Programmes
  • Ability to work on own initiative

The following are desirable

  • Degree or equivalent level education, maths, science, IT or business management.
  • Experience in providing effective training
