We are looking for an operative to work in our flagship Synchrotec production department.

 

About the department and the role

This is where we process fabrics mainly for the automotive industry. Processing involves washing and drying of fabric followed by applying treatments onto the fabric using our specialist production machinery. The final product which our customers receive allows them to bond rubber to the fabric which is primarily turned into timing belts.

As a Process Operative you will play a pivotal role in every one of our fabric treatment processes, operating a variety of different machines, also carrying out basic maintenance tasks, basic PC based activities and the use of mechanised hoists and lifting equipment.



You will have:

  • Experience of using a PC for entering data.
  • An understanding of Health and Safety principles within a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work in a team as well as on own initiative at times.
  • Good attention and eye for detail.
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative.
  • A desire to learn and develop.

The following are also desirable

  • Previous experience of working in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage but not essential




  4-shift pattern
14 shifts over 28 days (days and nights)

Full training will be provided
