Our Knitted textiles business unit has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Support position.

 

About the department and the role

Our Knitted Fabrics department is responsible for the manufacture of a wide variety of technical and apparel textiles. We have a vertically integrated production department producing fabrics with end uses ranging from bridal tulle to geotextiles and turbocharger hoses. Our sales team have a global customer base with a diverse product range and capability.

Our Sales Support role is well suited to someone who is able to work on their own initiative at times to facilitate the efficient running of the sales office. The successful candidate will communicate closely with sales colleagues, customers, agents and internal departments. Our Sales Support role provides a world-class level of customer service for the business unit by processing, tracking and pursuing customer orders while acting as the communication channel between the company and the customer.

 

Skills, knowledge and experience required

  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Excellent organisation and planning skills
  • Excellent customer focus with experience in customer service
  • Good attention to detail
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office
  • GCSEs or equivalent
  • Ability to solve problems effectively
  • A desire to develop
  • A second language would be an advantage but is not essential
  • A flexible approach
  • Experience in customer service in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage
