The Department and the Role

Our Maintenance Department are looking for an individual to take on the role of a Mechanical and Fabrication Engineer.

The successful candidate will provide mechanical engineering maintenance support to all production departments as well as across the site on both a reactive and planned maintenance basis. Autonomous mechanical engineering decisions on behalf of the department must be made within this role, administering the best course of action to rectify faults.

 

Essential Skills

  • Formally qualified or highly experienced welder
  • Fabricator with mechanical knowledge
  • Flexible to work on a call-out rota
  • Good communication skills

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in metalwork construction
  • TIG Desirable
  • Works well on own initiative as well as being part of a team.

 

 

    Mon-Fri 8.00am-5.00pm
plus call out rota

  Up to £32,000 per year
