About the department and role

We are looking for recent graduates or those with industry experience who are driven and ready to start their career with us. Our Technical Team plays a key and active role in managing a wide range of projects, taking them from the development stage through to production and commercialisation. You will be creating and developing new fabric solutions for various applications, coordinating and monitoring development trials, optimising product performance and ensuring cost expectations and technical specifications are met. You will undertake improvement activities and change management for optimisation and cost reduction.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for technical textiles and relish the opportunity to be involved in the creation and delivery of product and process development/optimisation and product compliance. You will be an ambitious individual with a strong drive to develop their career path within the Company and who has the potential and motivation to progress into a future career within the company.

 

Skills, knowledge and experience required

  • A strong desire to learn and develop
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational and proven project management skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes
  • Able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative
  • Degree or equivalent qualification preferably in Textiles, Science or Engineering
  • Able to travel outside the UK
