An exciting and varied multi-skilled engineering role within our in-house engineering department. 

 

About the Role and the Department

We seek a highly motivated Multi-Skilled Engineering Team Leader to oversee our team of talented engineers. You will be responsible for providing guidance and support, coordinating and prioritising team tasks, projects, and deadlines to achieve the best quality standards.

Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams you will drive continuous improvement, implement best practices, and streamline engineering processes. Within this role, you will also take ownership of resource allocation, budget management, providing technical expertise, and ensuring H&S, risk assessment and 5S adherence within the multi-skilled team.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • NVQ min Level 3 in either Mechanical or Electrical or relevant experience in both disciplines.
  • Industrial experience in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Proven supervisory experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Good dexterity
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Experience in dealing with external contractors
  • Working in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage.

 

    Mon-Fri 8.00am-5.00pm
(Plus call out rota in addition to core hours)
