We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our Queen’s Award-winning, expanding technical fabric business team.

Heathcoat Fabrics has been a pioneer in textile manufacturing for more than two centuries, specialising in the development and production of highly engineered technical fabrics. Our market-leading solutions keep emergency service workers safe, help renewable energy industries combat climate change, protect military forces globally, safeguard the environment, enhance the lifespan and efficiency of road, rail and air transport, and even safely deliver a soft landing on distant planets.
As part of our sales team, you will be joining an ambitious and fast-growing department which is responsible for some of our most exciting high-profile projects, including space missions and green energy generation.
We are proud winners of The Queen’s Award for Enterprise for Innovation and as part of the team, joining us means you will contribute to some of the most innovative technical fabric-making projects in the world.
Our highly engineered technical fabrics include composites, coated, laminated and adhesion-activated products.
Other products, manufactured through our integrated production department are destined for diverse end uses. These include recreation and military parachutes, electric vehicle and aircraft components, firefighter and other emergency services uniforms, body armour and chemical protection for military personnel globally and healthcare fabrics for medical applications.
We are looking for an individual to play a key role in new business development, driving sustainable, profitable growth within the business unit; developing and executing sales strategies and, most importantly, providing World-Class customer support.
As Business Development Manager, you will be expected to actively seek new accounts and business opportunities, having the vision to pursue your own initiatives and ideas. Maintaining frequent contact with our well-respected customers, producing sales reports and collecting KPI data for management reviews are also a requirement within the role.
