We have an exciting opportunity for a Warping Operative to join our Mill Warping department.

 

  2-shift working pattern

6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm

About the departments and responsibilities

Our Mill Warping department is responsible for the supply of completed warp beams to our Knitting Production units.

Duties involve patrolling warping machinery, insertion of empty warps and removal of full warps from machinery, loading and unloading creels for warping machines, producing beams for the knitting department to required specifications and maintaining good housekeeping within the department.

 

Skills, knowledge and experience required

Essential

  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Able to lift 19 kg
  • Good hand/eye dexterity
  • Basic computer literacy

Desirable

  • Understanding of Health and Safety within a manufacturing environment
  • Understanding of Standard Operating Procedures
