Warping Operative

An operative opportunity has arisen within the Mill Warping department. The role involves the operation of various machinery and equipment. Key responsibilities for this role include operating machinery to a production plan to the required standard as set out in departmental documentation and procedures, to include:
  • SOPs;
  • Technical information;
  • Training structure; and
  • Standard Work.
Operators are expected to comply with all HS&E and quality requirements within the department. You must have a responsible attitude, a logical approach, be able to achieve the grade standard within a given training period and work as part of a team.  You will be required to demonstrate good hand/eye dexterity, numeracy and literacy skills.  The role involves heavy lifting and manual handling.  A consistent eye for attention to detail is critical and a good level of computer literacy is also required as the role includes record keeping. Training will be provided on the ‘Vantage’ ERP database system.
