We have an interesting and varied Stores Person role within our finished fabric warehouse.
About the department and the role
Our warehouse team are essential for ensuring that rolls of fabrics are received, stored, wrapped and despatched to our customers in a suitable condition as set out in departmental documentation.
Our stores people are required to receive and store fabric, wrap it to the required standards and ensure customer orders are met. Stores personnel are also required to cover other areas of the Warehouse such as the baler room, cone stripper and attend to site deliveries.
Requirements of the role
Essential
- Ability to demonstrate initiative
- Experience in using a PC for basic tasks
- Ability to work in a team as well as on your own
- Good attention to detail
Desirable
- An understanding of HS&E and quality issues in a manufacturing environment
- An understanding of the 5S manufacturing principles
- Previous forklift truck driving experience
Monday to Friday / 8.00am to 5.00pm
Salary £20,000 to £20,857
