Due to continued investment in new equipment, we have a number of Production Operative opportunities across all our production areas.

An introduction to the roles

We have a number of Production Operative vacancies available across our Woven Fabrics, Knitting and Finishing departments and we welcome applications from anyone who would like to play a pivotal role in our fabric production and treatment processes.

Our Operatives are responsible for operating our impressive production machinery and undertaking tasks such as using powered manual handling equipment or quality inspection using a keen eye for detail.

You will be provided with a full training programme to help you grow and develop your expertise, as we are fully committed to ensuring that our people have the skills and confidence to excel in their field and therefore provide opportunities for progression at all levels.

We can currently offer 3 and 4-shift options:

    • 3-Shift – 10 shifts over 21 days (days and nights)
      12-hour shifts.
    • 4-Shift – 14 shifts over 28 days (days and nights)
      12-hour shifts.

 

What we would like you to demonstrate in your application:

  • Previous experience of working in a manufacturing environment (advantageous but not essential).
  • An understanding of Health and Safety principles within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in using a PC for entering data.
  • Ability to work in a team as well as on own initiative.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative.
