We have a number of exciting opportunities within our production departments for ambitious individuals with a passion for manufacturing or technical textiles, to develop their career path as a Production Graduate.

About the department and role

We are looking for recent graduates or those with industry experience who are driven and ready to start their careers with us. Over the course of the two-year programme, our Production Graduates will work within a specific area of production and build their operational and technical knowledge of the business. During this time, there will be the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in project management with the view to a future career in production management at the end of the two-year programme. Our Production Graduates are our people managers of the future who want to make a difference and have a strong desire to deliver continuous business improvement.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for manufacturing or technical textiles and will have the opportunity to be involved in the creation and delivery of strategic business developments and improvements. The successful candidate will be an ambitious individual with a strong drive to develop their career path within the Company and who has the potential and motivation to progress into a future career within production management.

You will need to have the Right to Work in the UK and be able to provide evidence as part of the application process.

 

Skills, knowledge and experience required

  • A strong desire to learn and develop
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational and project management skills with the ability to problem-solve
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes
  • Able to work on own initiative
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant degree, preferably in Engineering, Science or Business
  • Experience working in a team
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Right to Work in the UK
