{"id":6023,"date":"2020-05-13T09:31:31","date_gmt":"2020-05-13T08:31:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.heathcoat.co.uk\/?p=6023"},"modified":"2020-05-28T17:00:01","modified_gmt":"2020-05-28T16:00:01","slug":"praetor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.heathcoat.co.uk\/fr\/praetor\/","title":{"rendered":"Unmatched protection and print durability"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"core-block core-block-generic\"><div><p>Heathcoat Fabrics has successfully designed and manufactured a highly durable IRR camouflage printed fabric unmatched by any other product currently available in the defence market. <strong>Praetor-FR<\/strong> is a <strong>100% aramid<\/strong> fabric that has been designed to exceed current specifications for tenacity, weight and durability. With the fabric primarily used by military personnel in dangerous environments, the decision was made to innovate a fabric that provided real heat and flame protection into the modern military theatre of operations.<\/p>\n<p>The revolutionary development has placed significant importance on the safety of the wearer. Tests have been carried out on the unique fabric system demonstrating over 20% higher tenacity and increased breathability over competitor products. Combined with a lower fabric weight this results in reduced heat stress for the wearer. Traditional systems rely on a cellulosic component to enable printing, compromising durability. Heathcoat Fabrics\u2019 breakthrough of a <strong>100% aramid<\/strong> fabric system resolves this issue.<\/p>\n<p>After testing against heat and flame, Heathcoat\u2019s new 100% aramid fabric demonstrated:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong> no flaming to top or side edge<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>no hole formation<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>no flaming or molten debris<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>no after flame, <\/strong>and<\/li>\n<li><strong>no afterglow<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The fabric has high abrasion resistance which translates into greater wear strength and resulting in greater durability.
