Our Woven Fabrics business is responsible for the manufacture of technical textiles through a variety of processes such as Texturising, Warping, Drawing-in, Weaving and Inspection.
Our Operations Manager is responsible for the planning, manufacture, and quality of all Woven Fabric products and for driving efficiencies across the production areas. The ideal candidate will be managing budget constraints, ensuring managers measure performance through Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost metrics and initiating and implementing continuous improvements through all relevant stakeholders. Our Operations Manager is responsible for working with the divisional Director to develop and implement a World Class Woven Fabrics production strategy to ensure the division is able to meet all current and future business demands to the high standards expected by our customers.
The successful candidate will lead the delivery of the production strategy through target setting, monitoring achievements and appropriate milestones with each accountable Manager and/or Team Leader. The ideal candidate will have a passion for manufacturing or technical textiles and will play an active role in the development of Woven Fabric management, promoting and encouraging an environment focused on delivering world-class service and a positive employee culture. They are hands-on, leading and motivating their team of Managers and Team Leaders. The successful candidate will be an ambitious individual with a strong drive and motivation to develop within the Company.
