Purpose of the job:
The main purpose of this job is to provide a technical function for the Woven Apparel Division and develop new products and markets, whilst supporting the current range via a “technical sales” function.
Key duties and responsibilities:
New product design and new market development
Technical sales support
Quality control of yarns, woven and knitted fabric garments
Creating and maintaining weaving & technical specifications for woven and knitted fabrics.
Raw material sourcing i.e. yarn and fabric and coatings etc.
Skills, knowledge and attributes required:
Textile degree or equivalent
Experience as a Technologist
Thorough knowledge of yarn and fabric production and processing
Grade C and above in GCSE Maths and English
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Well organised and able to work on own initiative or as part of a small team
Passionate
Driven

Purpose of the job:
To drive process improvement throughout the Company based on best practice and proven tools and techniques.
Key duties and responsibilities:
Investigating and eliminating inefficiencies in targeted processes
Establishing key performance indicators to ensure improvement can be measured effectively
Facilitating problem solving development across the site
Instigating robust corrective and preventative actions where non –conformity is identified
Supporting divisional activities
